OLCHS senior wins Metra Poster Contest

Metra recently held a Safety Poster Contest as part of its ongoing efforts to increase public awareness and engage students to help further their understanding and practice of important railroad safety rules.

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade in northeastern Illinois were invited to submit a poster displaying railroad safety using this year's poster contest theme of "Safety Rules: Look, Listen and Live." One first-, second- and third-place winner was selected from each grade and was awarded prizes.

Oak Lawn Community High School senior Luke Lally won first place for 12th grade and was awarded a laptop computer.
